#newmusicmonday Maverick Sabre - "Sometimes" video - single out next week

London born, Irish raised singer-songwriter Maverick Sabre is set to release his debut single Sometimes on Monday 8th February through Impala Records.

Maverick Sabre's influences include folk, hip-hop, reggae and soul - culminating in a genre straddling sound that has won him fans in both the indie and urban worlds and helped him break the standard singer-songwriter
mould.

Having supported Plan B and Speech Debelle on tour, shared a stage with Get Cape, Wear Cape, Fly,
Natty and Bashy, performing at the Roundhouse, Southbank Centre, Big Chill Festival and fashionable London club nights like YoYo and Strangebrew; Maverick Sabre is going from strength to strength.

BBC 1Xtra has already chosen Sometimes as a "Weekend Anthem" and Hot Press has tipped Maverick as "Best Breakthrough Irish Newcomer."

Maverick's strong relationship with his rapidly growing fan base instigated the release of Sometimes, which will include a series of exclusive optional extras including hand written lyric sheets, private house gigs, tickets and signed CDs. These will be available via his Facebook and Myspace pages and pledgemusic.com.

Busy showcasing his talents at gigs in both Ireland and London, further dates are to be announced in 2010.
