Oh, how we love a midweek update!
No doubt a lot of editorial energy has been spent chasing Breakin' Convention EXCLUSIVES (so EXCLUSIVE I had to put it in capitals) which have thus far included SALAH and b-boy KEN SWIFT, plus the diary of JONZI-D - the reason the whole Breakin' Convention thing happened.
I hope you're enjoying them - there's more to come! Make sure to get your tickets before they sell out.
Older notes have been dusted off too, and I've managed to get some stuff on Battle of the Year up too.
Have yourself a midweek read, and if you like any of the articles, remember you can click the Share button to put a link to them on Facebook.

More Breakin' Convention exclusives!
Party people -
Breakin' Convention is less than one week away - so another feature has been added to the Breakin' Convention section on the site.
This time it's the legendary Salah from France telling us about his piece called "The Dream of Gluby"
Meanwhile, Jonzi D has been recording the whole process of preparing for BC'09 in Jonzi's Diary.
Hit up the site and check them out!

Saturday and Battle Day! Updates and dance in abundance!
It's that time of the week again!
This Saturday is the qualifiers for Battle of the Year at O2 Academy Islington. Can last year's qualifiers BadTasteCru do it again? Who will be repping UK in Germany for the finals?
Saturday and Sunday also see swagg-ah and style at Stylefest 2009 at Stratford Circus, a day to dance with the pros, and a day to battle for a cash prize!
For details and tickets to the above shows you can find links on their news pages.
Finally I've been lucky enough to travel around London with a gang of beatboxers, suprising and confusing them with random "flash jams."
Read how the day went and what I thought of the concert at the BoxCon site, which you can link to from TooMuchFlavour.
Have a good weekend!
Peace,
Flave

New videos on 2MF YouTube channel! BoxCon 2009
Last weekend was the international beatboxing convention, BoxCon.
To mark its return, "flash jams" were planned around London's tourist spots. Like flash mobs (think of the T-Mobile advert at Liverpool St station), the organisers intended to surprise members of the public by spontaneously bursting out into a beatboxing frenzy!
I followed the guys all around London with my trusty camera to capture the moments. Go see what "flash jams" are all about! They're... different!

This Easter weekend...
Get yourself down to Southbank Centre which will be holding TWO events - with a lot of stuff to do for free!
The first is B.Supreme 09, celebrating the contribution women to hip hop culture, featuring a gang of special guests, battles, and a free popping, breaking and house classes.
The next is BoxCon 09, the international beatbox convention, where emcees will astound and amaze you with their microphone skills.
As I said, most of these events are FREE to check out (except for the main shows and concerts, all reasonably priced under a tenner), so get on down!
News and updates are on the site.
Have a great Easter

Thinking hats on! Ask questions for Myo Sung
About Myo Sung (for Breakin Convention)
"The festival also features the return on Sunday of Korea's MyoSung with their stunning The Revolution Will Not Be Institutionalised, which was a major highlight of the festival last year."
Myo Sung closed Breakin Convention last year to a standing ovation, and they're back again this year!
Thinking hats on. If you don't know about them, click the attached link to find out!
