Tommy Franzén has finished editing his showreel and uploaded it to YouTube.
It mainly consists of clips from So You Think You Can Dance, although there are some other clips of the Pepsi Can Fu advert and his Breakin' Convention appearances that we included in his quick bio as well.
I thought this might be of interest to readers as there are short clips of Tommy in Mamma Mia! which has been a popular search term over the past few months, so for everyone looking for those clips, enjoy!

By the way, I should mention that Tommy will be appearing at Chingford Day Dance Festival on 4 July. Lizzie Gough who starred in So You Think You Can Dance as well as Blaze: The Streetdance Sensation with Tommy is also pencilled in, but not confirmed, yet.

Blaze Streetdance Sensation Press Night
The editor mingles with the social elite
After a week of advanced previews, Wednesday was the press night for Blaze. We were all there. The Guardian, probably. Time Out, that could have been likely. You Magazine? For some reason they were there too, abandoning their rubbish as they left. That's how I know - they left their press ticket envelopes discarded on the floor. And of course, I was there - read our review of Blaze here
But paparazzi? Are you sure? Did someone inform the tabloids I had a hair cut? There was a good photographer huddle outside the doors of the Peacock Theatre. What's this all about?
Incidentally there was no red carpet laid out, just cold, hard concrete to stroll across.
"Ah yes, now I remember," I thought. "Lizzie Gough and Tommy Franzén from So You Think You Can Dance are in the cast. Those two dancers that were dancing professionally before the show anyway!"
Now, I'm down with inviting people with whom the dancers might have worked with in the past, but letting the paps know of your whereabouts when you're on a leisurely trip to the theatre just blows it a little out of proportion.
This is street dance, where dancers are used to going for a Nando's after a show than eating stuffed olives.
Then again, when Arlene Phillips and Louise Redknapp (above) walked up and the cameras started flashing, what did I do? I stood in the background and held up a TooMuchFlavour flyer! With any luck I'll have scored some free advertising in today's Evening Standard!
It's interesting to see how the media seems to be more interested in the runners up of So You Think You Can Dance than its actual winner. Through the hustle and bustle of the Peacock Theatre's packed space I didn't happen to see Charlie Bruce. Winning clearly isn't everything.
The show was also a sell out, although two seats were quite obviously not filled right in front of me.
What annoyed me the most is the fact that afterwards dancers I could have spoken to at any dance jam were out of reach from the general public, despite being just across the room, cordened off in a VIP section while a paparazzi snapped pictures of Louise for their magazine. Worth sticking around for? I think not!
Hmm. Is it me, or will too much media interest in street dance distort the dancer's perception of normality when the hype dies down?
Incidentally a discussion on the direction of street dance and its relationship with the media will take place at Collabo '10 at Stratford Circus this Friday and Saturday (19-20 March), and Tommy Franzén and Mark Calape (Animaineax) will both have a seat on the panel.

Charlie Bruce Wins So You Think You Can Dance!
Charlie Bruce is the winner of So You Think You Can Dance.
She placed in the final two with Tommy Franzén after placing ahead of Lizzie Gough who was the runner up.
The youngest and least experienced of the contestants, Charlie Bruce was left against experienced contemporary breaker Tommy Franzén as last two dancers in the competition. After enduring the length of Robbie Williams' musical set and a 'best of' reel, Cat Deeley announced the winner.
Voted by the viewing public as "Britain's Favourite Dancer," Charlie burst into tears upon hearing the result, while the judges praised her for today's performances.
Charlie Bruce takes home the £100,000 prize and will fly to Hollywood to perform in front of 20 million people in the American version of So You Think You Can Dance.

#SYTYCD So You Think You Can Dance - Week 2 hiphop videos
Here are the YouTube videos from week 2 of So You Think You Can Dance covering the hip hoppers, Lizzie Gough, Mark Calape and Tommy Franzen doing different styles, as well as the non-hip hop dancers doing hip hop routines.

Outstanding moment: Turns to the floor and air freeze, 53sec.
Originally in the behind-the-scenes footage, Tommy expressed he feared he wasn't pulling his weight enough in this routine. Considering Tommy's dance training, though, things didn't look so bad. The introduction as he walks on stage had swagger, and the smoothness of his hips was enough to woo judge Arlene Philips and establish a reputation of a lady's man!
How much it looked like the choreographer I don't know, as the footage isn't available, but it was enough to fool the punters.
Although the routine centred around the girl character, Tommy provided the support and pulled off the lifts perfectly. Terrible choice of music must be noted - stop playing up to the audience, especially by choosing a talent show winner's song for another talent show.

Outstanding moment: Floor spin 1min 26sec.
This is another routine that proves that Mark Calape really wants to prove he can do more than just street dance. It's only week two, but already he's managed to blag a traditional style of dance by jumping into the character of a regal and proud Viennese dancer with strong, fluid arms and confident movement. Lizzie Gough, who has been classically trained, would play the character of the noble sweetheart going to the ball with him.
Despite a broken finger (a "blinger," bandage complete with diamontés) he was able to execute lifting her without any visible pain and dance the entire routine with a smile on his face.
His "isn't that a kind of biscuit?" about the Viennese waltz will go down in dance history.

Song: Black Eyed Peas - Boom Boom Pow
Outstanding moment: The opening routine up until the floorwork
Kenrick, choreographer for Boy Blue, choreographed a killer routine reminiscent of some of his work for Pied Piper for Latin dancer Yanet and contemporary dancer Robbie, but they weren't quite able to nail it.
At first glance its okay as a duet, but as it moves on to the solos you see they're not quite as strong as individuals.
Credit has to be given to Kenrick for squeezing in a six step into the choreography, although he should have really drilled Robbie's Zulu spins!
Our favourite routine: Hayley Newton and Drew McOnie performing contemporary
Okay, I realise this isn't hip hop (and who said it had to be?), but it was the most outstanding routine of the week. Choreographed by Rafael Bonachela it was moving and told a gripping story of two lovers.
To favourite a contemporary routine says a lot for someone who doesn't usually like contemporary. Watch it and be humbled by it.

She's also the dancer I knew the least about, but with a little bit of résumé searching I managed to find a few facts you might not know from reading not-so-great BBC So You Think You Can Dance profiles.

As with other dancers we've done for our So You Think You Can Dance blogs Tommy Franzen and Mark Calape, I'll be going along with the "haven't I seen them somewhere before?" theme... it works best for me and helps along the dawning of "I thought I knew her!" moment we all get when we recognise someone.
And her résumé shines! Besides the street dance, over the past eight years she's scooped up a great selection of appearances as a commercial dancer in front of big audience: The Royal Variety Show, the X-Factor tour, and Clothes Show Live, and of course the all-star names she's danced for go with those shows, plus worked with commercial dance groups, Rudeye and Dance2XS. Her most recent job has been dancing for Take That at the Brit Awards.

Like a lot of the dancers taking part in So You Think You Can Dance, she trained at Laine Theatre Arts. But because street dancing is our angle, we want to know about her credentials!
First up, she is a b-girl, as she was part of the Oxfam internet viral campaign raising awareness for pregnancy healthcare.
